Postdoc Position-University of Wisconsin-Madison
A postdoctoral position is available immediately at the Sun laboratory, Department of Genetics, University of Wisconsin-Madison to study human stem cells, lung biology and disease.
-Position Requirements-
We seek candidates with a clear commitment to research, and a strong background in molecular biology, cell biology or developmental biology. Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree in biological sciences.
-Research Direction-
University of Wisconsin-Madison is an epicenter of human ES/iPS cell research. This position seeks to take advantage of our strong collaborative community. We will take the unique angle and use ES/iPS cell derived lung cell types to study the significant topic of human lung development and disease. This work will complement our well-recognized strength in studying lung development using mouse as a model organism.
-Laboratory-
Our laboratory is well-established (started in 2002). It composes of young people who are dedicated, productive, collaborative and friendly. We are well funded by NIH and other funding agencies. University of Wisconsin offers outstanding training credentials. Madison is safe, active and has a diverse international population.
