Postdoctoral Fellow Positions (One- postdoctoral openings)
Supervisor:
Supervisor Dr. Huang Lingxia, a researcher at Zhejiang University, is a young talent under the Shennong Talent Program of the Ministry of Agriculture of the PRC. Currently, she serves as the vice dean of the New Rural Development Institute (including the Agricultural Promotion Center) of Zhejiang University and the deputy director of the Agricultural Experiment Station.The supervisor leads a total of 36 major research projects, including projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, sub-projects of the National Key R&D Program, and Special Project of Zhejiang Major Agricultural Technology Collaborative Promotion Program.
The laboratory research focus on Specialized economic animal breeding (silkworm and mulberry), Intelligent agriculture, Bioinformatics.

Qualifications
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
1.Applicants should be under 35 years old and got a doctor’s degree in recent years, and work full-time in the ZJU.
2.A Ph.D. in Silkworm and mulberry, Intelligent agriculture, Bioinformatics or a closely related discipline. A strong record of research productivity, including first-author publications in peer-reviewed journals, is expected.
3. Excellent proficiency in English reading and academic writing, with the ability to independently prepare manuscripts for publication.
4. A high level of responsibility, integrity, and motivation, along with strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit, will be considered strong assets.

Application Materials and Selection Process
Applicants should submit the following materials:
1. Curriculum Vitae (CV), including educational background, research experience, academic achievements, English proficiency, and brief personal information.
2. Supporting documents demonstrating research competence and academic excellence, such as published papers, recommendation letters, records of research projects, and awards or honors.
3. A brief statement of research interests and future plans (no more than 500 words) outlining the applicant’s intended research goals during the postdoctoral appointment.

Final selection and appointment will proceed in accordance with Zhejiang University’s postdoctoral admission and approval procedures, upon agreement by the supervisor and the College of Animal Sciences.
