为深化暑期学校暨全球暑期创新实践项目实践教学环节，增进海外学员对动物医学临床诊疗体系的直观认识，7月30日，实践团赴浙江大学教学动物医院开展参访交流活动。实践团一行深入这所集医疗－教学－科研－社会服务四位一体的综合性旗舰型动物医院，实地调研其现代化诊疗体系与临床教学模式。本次参访是该系列活动的第八站。
抵达动物医院后，在孙老师带领下，同学们依次参观了外科、内科、眼科、肿瘤科、皮肤科、中兽医等多个专业科室，以及影像中心、检验科、病理科等医疗辅助体系。医院实行犬、猫、异宠分区诊疗，有效降低就诊动物的应激反应。在手术室内，师生了解到该手术室配备多媒体设备用于实时教学观摩，可开展开颅、开胸等高难度手术；影像中心拥有浙江省动物医疗领域唯一的1.5T超导核磁共振（MRI）和128层高精度CT，为疑难病例的精确诊断提供先进技术支持。整洁的分区环境与国际水准的诊疗设施，令中外学员对国内顶尖动物医院的硬件水平有了直观认识。
实地参观结束后，惠天朝老师带领同学们围绕一例典型临床病例展开专题讨论。大家结合所学专业知识，从病史分析、鉴别诊断到治疗方案制定进行了深入研讨，在真实病例情境中锤炼了临床诊疗思维。下午，师生在千级层流手术室临床观摩了一台肿瘤切除外科手术，从术前麻醉管理、无菌操作到精细切除缝合，全程感受了高水准外科手术的严谨规范。手术室配备的多媒体教学系统，使观摩学员得以清晰观察手术细节。
多位海外学员表示，此次参访使其对中国动物医学教育的临床教学体系和诊疗技术水平有了直观了解，对国内顶尖动物医院的设施条件与专业水准留下深刻印象
本次参访是暑期学校实践教学体系的重要环节，旨在促进中外学员在临床场景中深化专业认知，推动学术研究与临床实践有机衔接。面向海外学员，活动有效展示了中国动物医学教育及诊疗水平的现代化成果。学院将持续依托暑期项目平台，拓展国际产学研交流渠道，为提升学科国际影响力、讲好中国动物医学教育发展故事贡献动科力量。

Veterinary Teaching Hospital of Zhejiang University
Founded in 1960, the Veterinary Teaching Hospital of Zhejiang University is a comprehensive teaching animal hospital of Zhejiang University. In October 2021, the main hospital moved to its new facility at No. 5 Bochuang Street, Xihu District, Hangzhou, covering an area of over 7,000 square meters. It is one of the largest animal hospitals in China and the largest in southern China. After more than six decades of development, the hospital has become a comprehensive flagship animal hospital integrating medical service, education, scientific research and social service.
Positioned as a Grade Ⅲ Level A animal hospital, the hospital features multiple specialized departments including internal medicine, surgery, ophthalmology, oncology, dermatology, traditional Chinese veterinary medicine and exotic pet medicine, supported by medical technology departments such as an imaging center, clinical laboratory, pathology department and anesthesia and intensive care center. The hospital houses the only 1.5T superconducting MRI and 128-slice high-precision CT in the animal healthcare field in Zhejiang Province, and operates a Class 1000 laminar flow operating theater capable of supporting high-complexity procedures such as craniotomy and thoracotomy.
In September 2024, the hospital successfully passed the accreditation of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), becoming the first teaching animal hospital in China to receive this certification, markingng international recognition of its medical facilities, diagnostic and treatment technologies, and service standards. The hospital has also been recognized by the Chinese Veterinary Medical Association as a Five-Star Animal Hospital, Cat-Friendly Animal Hospital and Model Popular Science Animal Hospital, and serves as a training institution for veterinary surgery (small animal) specialties.
