Postdoctoral Fellow Positions (1 opening)
Supervisor:
Prof. Fuyong Li obtained his PhD degree from University of Alberta (Canada). He is currently appointed as a professor at Zhejiang University (China). He obtained a BAg in Animal Science, double MSc in Animal Breeding and Genetics, and a PhD in Animal Science. Prof. Li has published 13 scientific papers as the first or the corresponding author in Cell, Microbiome, iMeta, etc., including two Highly Cited Papers and one Journal Spotlight Paper, and published >20 papers as co-authors. Prof. Li leads several prestigious projects, including NSFC National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars, NSFC General Program, Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, and Jiangxi Provincial Key R&D Program. Qualifications
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
1. Applicants should be under 35 years old and got a doctor’s degree in recent years, and work full-time in the ZJU.
2. A PhD in microbiology, bioinformatics, or statistics. Candidates with experience in microbial gene editing, comparative genomics, evolution of microbes, probiotics, and microbial ecology are particularly encouraged to apply. A strong record of research productivity, including first-author publications in peer-reviewed journals, is expected.
3. Excellent proficiency in English reading and academic writing, with the ability to independently prepare manuscripts for publication.
4. A high level of responsibility, integrity, and motivation, along with strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit, will be considered strong assets.

Remuneration and Benefits:
1. Competitive compensation: We operate a tiered postdoctoral funding system for full-time postdoctoral researchers, combining the funds of the university, the supervisor, the department/school and external social resources, to provide market-line compensation package and complete social insurance.
