OVERSEAS VISIT AND EXPERIENCE
l In 1992, invited by UNDP and ESCAP to attend the Expert Group Meeting on Post-cocoon Operations and Sixth Session of the Regional consultative Group on Silk held in Manila, Philippines in October. In this meeting, as a representative of China, I presented a country paper -?°Post-cocoon operation in China?±.
l Invited by the Central Silk Board, Ministry of Textile, India to observe the local sericulture activities and put forward pratical suggestions for further development, I visited india in September, 1994.
l Invited by BRAC(Bangladesh Rural Advancement Committee), I visited this country in November,1994. By observation of the local sericultural activities, we drafted a report and helped them to make a long-term developmental plan.
l Participated in the International Entomology Committee, I participated in the 19th International Congress of Entomology held in Beijing, China, June 28-July 4,1992, and gave a presentation on ?°Sericulture production in China?±.
l Participated in 1st International Symposium on Sericultural Science held in Hangzhou, China. Oct.6-10,1996, and gave a presentation on ?°Important protective enzymes in the silkworm, Bombyx mori L.?±
l Visiting Researcher, Kyoto Institute of Technology, Japan (Jan. 1997 ¨C Feb. 1998)
l Postd. Researcher, University of California, Riverside, USA (May. 2002 ¨C May. 2003)
